Unleashing a Great Power !

October saw some great events happening across the Roundtable in Queensland. Included in the "must do" list was our Supply Chain Working Group at the Woolworths' Brisbane Distribution Centre, Larapinta.

Earlier this week I was lucky enough to spend some time with a group of SIRF members visiting the Arnott's factory in Brisbane, an iconic brand that has gone through significant change over the years to maintain efficiencies and position in an ever changing market. Most of those changes have centred around automation and robotics, with the impact on the facility achieving great results.

Innovation

A fantastic SIRF Senior Leaders dinner earlier this month with 30 leaders from 24 organisations . Linda Davis (ex Cerebos, now Head of Transformation at Goodman Fielder NZ) gave a fabulous presentation on Innovation.
